Barlow Road RR Crossing in Fort Morgan to be Closed March 14
The railroad crossing at Barlow Road in Fort Morgan is scheduled to be closed on Wednesday, March 14, to allow crews to work on the track according to BNSF Railway.
The closure is scheduled for 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on only that day, however those plans could change depending on conditions and the progress of the work.
Motorists are advised to avoid this area and seek alternate routes during the closure. Normal non-commercial traffic can use the Sherman Street crossing to the west. Detour signage and traffic control measures will be in place.
Truck traffic for the Cargill plant and other destinations south of the tracks will be diverted at US-34/Platte Avenue east to Moseley Road (County Road 21), then south to County Road R and west to the plant.
