NY Gov. Cuomo On High Schoolers: “Put Them On A Bus & Bring Them To A Mass Vaccination Site”
“We’re working very hard to get the younger people, incentives for younger people,” Cuomo said.
During Monday’s COVID-19 press conference, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo detailed a plan to send public high school students to “mass vaccination” sites.
Focusing on two groups the state calls “Youthful and the Doubtful,” Cuomo explained why young people and those hesitant to take the jab are now being targeted for vaccination.
“I’ve asked high schools to organize events to drive their students to a mass vaccination site. Put them on a bus, and bring them to a mass vaccination site”.

“Youthful and the doubtful,” Cuomo said. “Those are our words. They’re not like scientific words. Younger population and populations that have doubts. And we’re working very hard to get the younger people, incentives for younger people.”
He continued, “I’ve asked high schools to organize events where they drive their students to a mass vaccination site. Put them on a bus and bring them to a mass vaccination site, because that is the population that we need to vaccinate. The doubtful, the hesitant population. That’s more education, more information, more education, more information.”
