Two corrections officers at Ontario County jail suspended after investigation by Monroe County DA
Two Corrections Officers at the Ontario County Jail have been suspended after an investigation into alleged criminal or public corruption by Monroe County District Attorney Sandra Doorley.
Doorley, who was appointed special prosecutor, recommended the suspensions following the conclusion of her investigation.
The allegations dated back to when Phil Povero was sheriff and do not involve the use of excessive force.
Sheriff Kevin Henderson says the investigation is now a personnel matter.
