INJURY ACCIDENT SUNDAY SOUTH OF OZARK
INJURY ACCIDENT SUNDAY 5/2 12:20PM HWY 23 & HWY 309 FC Authorities were called to Highway 23 south & Highway 309 Sunday afternoon to an accident with injury. FC Deputy Larry Moore responded to the scene to investigate. Mark Clark of Ozark age 48 was driving a 2016 Ford Escape ($2,500) traveling north on Highway 23, he attempted to make a left turn into Anderson Propane when Louis Knight of Booneville age 60 was driving a 1998 Dodge pickup ($2,000) traveling south and struck the Clark vehicle. Louis Knight of Booneville was transported to Mercy Fort Smith by Franklin County EMS with suspected serious injuries according to the report. Clark was checked at the scene and was not transported. Knight was cited for no proof of insurance, no seat belt and he was administered a test for DWI with results pending.
