(KVHT) – A mobile unit COVID-19 vaccination clinic will be taking place in Wagner this week. According to health officials, FEMA and Indian Health Services are partnering to provide the clinics to 13 communities in North and South Dakota. Two mobile units will administer vaccinations in Wagner on April 22nd and 23rd, with the second shot follow-up clinics to be held May 13th and 14th. The mobile unit will be stationed at the old Shopko building at 905 West South Dakota Highway 46. The mobile vaccination sites will be able to provide up to 250 shots a day. No pre-registration is required, with vaccinations provided on a first come-first served basis. The sites will be walk-through, with parking available, and the vaccination and post-shot waiting areas are protected from the elements. Vaccines are available to anyone 16 years old and older. Those who are 16 and 17 will need permission from a parent or guardian.
