Shortsville Wildwater Derby cancelled, and not due to COVID
This year’s Wildwater Derby on the Canandaigua Outlet has been cancelled.
Organizers cite not COVID, but low water levels. The lake level is about eight inches below normal for this time of year. They say there’s not enough time to make up that shortfall, even if we get rain.
The event was to have been held the last weekend of this month.
