COVID 1984: Swiss President: ‘Anyone Who Wishes to Travel Must Be Vaccinated’
All international travelers entering or leaving Switzerland will eventually be required to show proof of having received a COVID vaccine, according to Swiss President Guy Parmelin.
Additionally, he believes vaccines will probably be mandatory to attend many public gatherings, such as concerts and sporting events.
“In the future, those who wish to travel will have to be vaccinated,” Parmelin said in a recent interview.
Parmelin says the Federal Council has “yet to discuss” how to implement a national plan pertaining to public vaccination requirements, but admits a two-tiered society could effectively form, with restrictions remaining for those who refuse to be receive the jab.
“For example, masks must be made compulsory for unvaccinated people on public transport,” he said.
When asked if the ‘COVID crisis’ would be considered over if everyone is jabbed, the Swiss president would not commit, saying there are questions about whether vaccinated people can still transmit the virus.
“This is why the rules of hygiene and distance will certainly apply for a while,” he said.
Parmelin’s comments have stoked serious concerns among Swiss citizens, many of whom are alarmed at their government’s imposition of increasingly draconian measures under the guise of ‘public safety’ over the past year.
“Suggesting that vaccines could become mandatory is unconstitutional in Switzerland,” Geneva-based entrepreneur Nick F. Cerutti told Infowars. “It infringes upon the Federal Constitution of the Swiss Confederation, which states, ‘torture and any other form of cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment are prohibited.'”
“Beyond the tyranny we have all known since March of 2020, the Federal Council now seems to suggest that a treatment we know nothing about – except that it is allegedly less efficient than our immune systems – should become a permit to live our lives freely.”
