Rental Assistance Available For Nebraska Residents Hit By COVID-19

(KVHT) – Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts has announced the start of the Emergency Rental Assistance Program. The program kicked off Monday with the state accepting applications for the assistance program. The Emergency Rental Assistance Program is aimed at Nebraska residents that have been unable to pay past or future rent after suffering financial loss due to COVID-19. Renters must meet the income guidelines and be able to prove financial loss directly or indirectly impacted during COVID-19. There is a limit of up to $20,000 per person in assistance during the life of the program.
