COVID-19 numbers continue to decline in New York State
Statewide COVID-19 numbers remain on the downswing.
The state Health Department says the positivity rate is down to 3.06%, the lowest it’s been in nearly three months.
The 7-day average positivity rate has now declined for 43 consecutive days.
Meanwhile, hospitalizations have dropped to less than 6,000 for the first time since mid-December.
The number of intensive care patients has also dropped to pre-holiday levels.
