Lewis & Clark To Receive $1.7 Million For FY21

(KVHT) – The Lewis & Clark Regional Water System will be getting a boost from the federal government for ongoing construction in 2021. The Bureau of Reclamation announced Wednesday that it will be receiving $17.5 million to help complete the current water system project. Regional Water System administrators proposed $100,000 for Lewis & Clark in its FY21 Budget. The tristate delegation worked with their colleagues to help secure an additional $114.7 million for the Rural Water Program.  Reclamation then allocated $17.4 million of the additional funding to Lewis & Clark. In addition to the $100,000 proposed by the administration this latest funding assistance brings Lewis & Clark’s total to $17.5 million. In Fiscal Year 2020 Lewis & Clark received $18 million.
