The Logan County Sheriff’s Department addressed a video circulating on social media of an assault, this statement was released Wednesday evening by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department:

There is a video circulating social media that has also been sent to our agency of a man and woman viciously attacking an elderly man. This video was recorded in the fall of last year near Subiaco. The man hit the elderly man so hard that it knocked him out. We forwarded the video to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for their recommendation on charges. The suspects in the video have been identified and the male has been in the Logan County Detention Center since the end of November 2020 on unrelated felony charges. He was transferred to the Johnson County Detention Center on felony charges out of that county and is still in their facility. Once he is finished there, he will be transferred back to our jail. We are pursuing charges on the suspects.
