OZARK MAN ARRESTED IN BURGLARY INVESTIGATION

FC Investigator BJ Gilbreth reports that a John David Carter age 51 of Ozark was arrested on 1/14 after the Sheriff’s Department received information that Carter was at a residence in Ozark on North 2nd Street.    A felony warrant was obtained for Carter in connection with a residential burglary and theft back in early December in Franklin County.   When law enforcement arrived, Carter was located at the resident’s and taken into custody.   The home was searched and stolen property from that theft at the Sims property in Franklin County was recovered.   Deputies also located drugs and paraphernalia in the home.   Carter was booked into the Franklin County Detention Center on charges of breaking or entering, theft of property, criminal trespass, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance.   This is the second arrest now in the investigation into the theft and residential burglary.
