You Can Help Keep Yankton Families Warm This Winter

(KVHT) – As we experience another winter storm in the Yankton area, there are families out there in need of warm, winter clothing to get through the season. The United Way’s Clothing Closet is once again gathering winter clothing to support its mission of offering community members assistance as they struggle to make ends meet during this time. Donations of new and gently sed clothing, shoes, towels, or bedding will be accepted during the Winter Clothing Drive. Drop off locations are available at the Clothing Closet in Yankton from noon to 6pm next Wednesday and Thursday. Organizers say some of the most needed clothing includes youth items, including clothes, shoes, and boots, as well as adult casual clothing. For more information about The Clothing Closet, how to donate or how to volunteer, please contact United Way of Greater Yankton.
