Car chase leads to arrest in Vero Beach

VERO BEACH, Florida – A 33-year-old was arrested after a short car chase.
Joseph Moyer, of Vero Beach, was pulled over after being followed by deputies “disregarding lights flashing and sirens blaring,” the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office said. Moyer was also going 53 mph in a 35 mph zone Sunday around 1 p.m. near a school zone.
Moyer faces a charge of driving impaired.
