Harmony Grove Comes from Behind to Win

The Harmony Grove Hornets traveled 4 1/2 hours to Piggott to face the Mohawks in the first round of the Class 3 A football playoffs. The fell behind 24-6 in the first half, but scored 22 unanswered second half points to secure a victory, 28-24.
Andrew Taylor scored the Hornet’s only points of the first half when he caught a Caleb Johnson pass for 50 yards. In the second half Jeremie Edwards scored twice and Mecca Arnold scored once to secure the victory.
The Hornets will travel to Centerpoint next Friday night to face the Knights in a second round game. Kick-off is slated for 7:00.
Friday’s victory raised Harmony Grove’s record to 6-4 on the season.
