Three arrested in Pittsford home burglary; suspected to have committed others
Three people are in custody and a fourth is still being sought after Monroe County Sheriff’s deputies were called for a home break-in in the town Pittsford. Those arrested are suspected to have committed other burglaries in the area as well.
Deputies were called to a home around 3:40 a.m. Saturday morning for the report of a burglary happening in the home. The caller to 911 said they heard glass breaking and saw a strange man with a flashlight in their home.
Deputies arrived and immediately caught two suspects in the garage of the home. Two others were seen running through the back of the house; one of those suspects was caught while the other escaped through the backyard.
According to deputies, Paul Sylve, 43, Patience Jones, 26, and Jalen Morris, 27, were all taken into custody and charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and petit larceny.
While executing a search warrant on the car being driven by the suspects, deputies found stolen items from other area burglaries.
