Elderly Sodus woman killed in Monday afternoon crash
An 80 year old Sodus woman was killed in a two car accident Monday afternoon.
Gladys Hickey was traveling west on Middle Road when she went through a stop sign and struck a car that was heading north on North Centenary Road. Hickey was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the other car, 20 year old Samantha Datthyn, of Sodus, was also taken to Strong for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
