Construction On Riley Clinic Progresses
Riley, Kan. — Construction is moving right along on our new, state-of-the-art, primary care clinic in Riley, KS! Our new Riley Family Physicians clinic will be located at 701 Schurle Way (west of Dollar General). Completion and clinic opening is set for the end of September 2020.
This $1 million project will include six modern exam rooms, a large procedure room, and in-house laboratory. The 4,400 square-foot building will be fully handicap-accessible and has been designed for all modern healthcare needs. This new clinic will be open Monday-Friday, and walk-in appointments will be available.
Allison Haynes, MD will be the new medical provider for this clinic. Dr. Haynes was raised in Clay Center, KS. She received her bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University, and her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. We will also be hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to staff the clinic Monday-Friday for walk-in appointments.
A fundraising campaign is underway, with a $150,000 goal towards expenditures of furniture, fixtures and equipment for the clinic. Your donation of any amount helps ensure a strong financial footing for Riley Family Physicians as we start a new chapter in healthcare in Northern Riley County. Donations can be made up-front or as a pledge to be paid over three years. A donor recognition board listing all donors to the campaign of any monetary level will be installed in the lobby of the clinic. The campaign also, offers naming opportunities for fourteen rooms for gifts between $5,000 to $25,000. An application for a Community Service Tax Credit Program to help with funding the Riley clinic has been submitted.
Questions about the fundraising effort can be directed to Foundation Director, Lori Stanley at 785-630-2489. Please mail donations to CCHF-Riley Clinic, PO Box 512 Clay Center, KS 67432.
