Fire damages old Romulus church now used as residence
A fire broke out at a former Romulus church Friday evening.
Fingerlakes1.com reports about 10 fire companies were called out to Seneca Street to battle the blaze at the former church near the post office on Seneca Street.
It took fire crews nearly 2 hours to knock down the fire.
There’s no word yet on any injuries, nor the extent of the damage to the building, which is now a residence.
Firefighters believe an electrical problem caused the fire.
