$4.5 million coming to Sodus Bay Harbor for repairs
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District has received $91,256,500 in the Fiscal Year 2020 Work Plan, to complete projects across the District’s area of responsibility.
This is in addition to the $24,562,000 the District has already received in the Fiscal Year 2020 President’s Budget.
Funds will be used locally for navigation maintenance to repair the East Breakwater. That project at Great Sodus Bay Harbor will mean $4.5 million coming to the region as flooding concerns continue along Lake Ontario.
