Bearden Shooting Suspect still in Custody
A suspect in the shooting during a robbery of the Dollar General Store in Bearden is still being held in the Ouachita County Detention Center.
Bearden Police Chief Nathan Greeley says the manhunt for the shooter began a little before 10:00pm Sunday night with a 9-1-1 call from the Dollar General Store in Bearden.
Chief Greeley says the subsequent manhunt began with a chase of the suspect in a nearby apartment complex.
The suspect was identified as 21-year-old Kobe Juwan Miller of Columbia, MO. The Chief says the manhunt came to fortunate end when Miller turned himself in to law enforcement officers yesterday morning.
Chief Greeley said, at this time he would hold the names of the two store clerks in an effort to protect their privacy.
