Cato road rage killer tries for parole again citing terminal illness

Jan 14, 2020 | ,

A Cato man who was convicted in a road rage killing more than a decade ago will have another parole hearing.

William LeVea, 89, is trying for the seventh time to be released from prison.

He’s serving a 6-18 year sentence in the death of Christopher Spack, which happened in 2009.

LeVea was intoxicated and rammed Spack’s truck from behind numerous times – before spinning him into oncoming traffic.

State parole officials say LeVea is suffering from an undisclosed terminal illness.
