Let the work week fade away at UnTapped and Uncorked, Berkshire South Regional Community Center’s beer and wine tasting fundraiser for Financial Assistance Programs. This Friday, August 2, from 6-9 p.m., the event features The Lucky 5 (plus one), SoMa’s new Food Truck, breweries and wineries from across the region, a Silent Auction, and a mystery Wine Wall.
“Berkshire South Regional Community Center awards nearly $125,000 annually through our financial assistance programs. We live our mission that all are welcome regardless of ability to pay,” said Jenise Lucey, executive director of BSRCC. “This year, our financial assistance program applications have already exceeded last year’s total applications. As the community need grows, so do the number of applications. No one qualified has ever been turned away.”
Funds from Berkshire South’s Financial Assistance Programs fund adaptive needs class attendees, preschoolers, out-of-schoolers, aquatics, fitness and wellness attendees, and even summer campers in need.
Vendors include Bear and Bramble Brewing Company, Big Elm Brewery, Bright Ideas Brewing, Berkshire Brewing Company, Brown’s Brewing Company, Cellarbrations, Graham Farmhouse and Winery, Hilltop Orchard and Furnace Brook Winery, chocolatier H.R. Zeppelin, Mill River General Store and more!
Tickets for Young Professionals (under 40) are only $25 in advance, tickets for all others in advance are $38, and $45 at the door. Tickets are for sale at Mill River General Store, online at berkshiresouth.org/tastingevent. Call for more info: 413.528.2810.
