Hearing Continued For Haug
(KVHT) – A Fordyce, Nebraska, man, who’s facing attempted murder charges following a knife attack last week, continues to recover after an accident involving officers that were pursuing him. 44-year-old Kevin Robert Haug was set to appear in Cedar County Court on Monday on a probation violation charge. His attorney, however, requested a continuance as Haug continues to recover from the injuries suffered in the July 2nd, accident. The judge granted the request, and moved Haug’s hearing to August 16th. The Cedar County attorney accuses Haug of attacking another person with a knife leaving the victim in critical condition. Haug was arrested after police say he rammed an officer’s squad car with a stolen U-Haul during a traffic stop.
