Jun 24, 2019 | ,

Kandace Cook was recently named alumni coordinator at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

She holds two degrees from Southeastern, including a Master of Education. Her husband Ryan is also a Southeastern graduate.

Cook previously worked in the Office of Admissions and Recruitment, before leaving to become a classroom teacher.

As alumni coordinator, she will develop and implement strategies to increase alumni engagement. This includes developing and executing a communication plan with all alumni using various media.

In her new role, Cook will be working closely with Mark Webb, Director of Alumni and Development.

“Kandace has amazing organizational skills and a great affinity for her alma mater,’’ Webb said. “She is all about Southeastern, and I know that she will be a major contributor in advancing Alumni Relations.’’

Webb joined Southeastern in 2015 as Director of University Development; earlier this year, the alumni relations duties were added to his position.
