Governor Noem Accepting Applications For Fall Interns
(KVHT) – South Dakota students who are interested in the fall intern program with Governor Kristi Noem’s office have about a month to apply. College students who would like to be considered for an internship need to submit a resume, cover letter, and a letter of recommendation by July 12th. Student interns will work with staff on various projects depending on interests and strengths. Some typical duties include aiding the governor’s general counsel, director of constituent services, and communications team. They will also help in conducting policy research; preparing policy briefings; and staffing the Governor and Lieutenant Governor. Internships provide students with first-hand knowledge of state government and the functions of a governor’s office.
