Body Found; Thought to be Missing Clinton Man
By Paragon News Director Paul Joseph –
A body was found this morning in Clinton and police believe it could be that of the missing 46-year-old Clinton man.
Clinton police have announced that a body was found in a wooded area in the 100 block of Phillips Lane, near to where Brian Denney lives with his mother. Police were notified this morning of the deceased individual, but the circumstances surrounding the finding are still under investigation.
Police do say, however, that – at this time – there is no indication of foul play.
Denney was reported to police as missing 11 days ago by his mother to whom police continue to be in contact.
Police have been aggressively searching for Denney who is a diabetic and has other medical problems. Police say Denney’s mother told them that he is without his medications. She says they were left behind.
The family has been offering a $500-dollar reward to anyone that provides information that leads to the successful location of Denney who lives with his mother in the Phillips Lane Apartment complex.
Police say the medical examiner has been on scene and will confirm the identification and cause of death, but for now, this is an active investigation, so further information is not available by police at this time.
