The Shroud of Turin Presentation coming to Waterloo

Apr 9, 2019 | , ,

A presentation on The Shroud of Turin will be on April 22 at 6:30 PM at St. Francis-St. Clare Ministry Center, 25 Center St. in Waterloo. The holographic image of Jesus has stumped thousands of scientists. The presentation is on Powerpoint and “is based on 6 days of the highest-level forensic studies (24 hours a day). No other study compares to it including unique studies of pollen samples. It also includes maps and people involved in the keeping and transfer of the Shroud.

This review is the forensic evidence behind the belief that the Shroud is not a forgery but holds the miraculous image of a man, Jesus Christ,” states presenter Frank Netti. Netti earned BAs in Math from SUC at Buffalo and English from Syracuse University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He worked as a Financial Advisor for 38 years and is now retired. Since retirement in 2016, Netti has done volunteer work for AARP as a tax preparer, the Hospice of the Finger Lakes, past Grand Knight #10709 Auburn, NY, and for his parish in Auburn. The presentation will be approximately one hour. Parking is available behind St. Mary’s Church. Refreshments will be served. For more information call Netti at 315 246 7021
