35 year old Jessica Gober of Ozark was arrested Sunday for aggravated assault and tampering with physical evidence after 911 call of a male subject being stabbed at a resident’s on Breezeway Lane.   According to Jeff Wood with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department a 911 call was received about 5:30pm Sunday from the victim, Aaron Funderburk age 27.   Fundergburk reported that he had been stabbed by Gober at his home on Breezeway Lane.   Franklin County EMS was dispatched to the scene and transported Funderburk to the hospital in Fort Smith with a stab wound to his lower abdomen.   Funderburk was admitted and had surgery Sunday night, he was released from the hospital on Tuesday.    Funderburg told law enforcement that Gober came to his home Sunday and that he asked her to leave.   Gober refused to leave despite multiple requests to do so.   At one point she went into the kitchen and took a knife cutting up a duffel bag she had purchased for Funderburk in the past.   He continued to ask her to leave and he said that as she was walking out the front door she turned and stabbed him in the stomach.    Gober was located at the scene and said that the two were arguing when Funderburk fell on the knife, but the doctor’s who treated Funderburk said the knife entrance wound was not consist with her story.   Gober took law enforcement to St. Mary’s Mountain to retrieve the knife.  She had taken the knife to that area, broke it into several pieces and discarded the pieces, which were all recovered.    Gober was arrested Sunday and released Tuesday on a $5,000 bond.
