CleveCo Approves Fiscal Budget
The Cleveland County Quorum Court approved the Appropriation Ordinance for the county's 2019 fiscal budget during their regular monthly meeting Monday night.
County Judge Gary Spears says that the total budget for the 2019 fiscal year is just under $4.9-million. Spears says that they are looking for a 8% increase for employees for the 2019 year. He also says they are looking at several grant projects.
Judge Spears says there will be a change in a couple of JP districts for the coming year. Both Judy King and Jimmy Curry were presented with wall plaques of appreciation for their service on the Quorum Court.
The Cleveland County Quorum Court meets the 1st Monday of every month at 7:00pm in the county courthouse and all meetings is open to the public.
