Top Five Reasons to Invite Your Family to St. Lucie for the Holidays

Nov 7, 2018 | ,

Invite your family to take a break from the dark, cold winter and come to sunny St. Lucie, Fla. for holiday fun the entire family can enjoy!

No. 1: Escape the cold. If you have family that lives in the north, give them the opportunity to escape the cold, gray weather and come to sunny St. Lucie. After all, we all live in the Sunshine State of Florida – it’s time to enjoy the un-sweater weather. The Fall/Winter flight schedule at Palm Beach International ramps up this time of year offering daily flights from Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Boston, Hartford, Newark, Westchester, Atlanta, Baltimore, Detroit & Houston. Frequent flights from Cleveland, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Raleigh-Durham, and St. Louis also add to the list. www.pbia.org

No. 2: Tons of places to stay! From quaint, beachside inns to an all-inclusive resort in Port St. Lucie, the accommodations in St. Lucie fit all travel groups and their budgets. For a full list, click on Where to Stay at www.VisitStLucie.com.

No. 3. Support your local businesses. Let’s be real. Due to red tide and other environmental issues that have taken over local, state and even national headlines, the last couple of months haven’t been easy for our local hotels, retailers, restaurants, fishing guides, kayak tour guides and all the other businesses that rely on locals and visitors to survive. Bring the family and show them that the coast is clear and we are St. Lucie strong!

No. 4: Spending time with family and loved ones is life’s most precious moments. Don’t miss them.

No. 5: There’s no shortage of holiday activities to get you in the spirit. Here are just some of what families can do…
